  1. PREHISTORIC PUPPETS
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Markers or crayons
  5. 1 strip of 4 paper egg carton cups, attached
  6. 1 strip of 2 paper egg carton cups, attached
  7. 1 sock
  8. 2 rubber bands
  9. Tape
  10.  
  11. STEP 1
  12. Draw eyes on the 2 egg cups. And then use markers, crayons, or colored pencils to decorate the egg cups any way you like. You can also use glitter or other materials to decorate your prehistoric puppets. Or, paint each cup a different color. Use your imagination!

  14. STEP 2
  15. Slip your hand inside the sock.  And then place the 4 egg cups on top of the sock. With adult help, put a rubber band on each end of the cups.  The rubber bands help keep the egg cups on your arm.

  17. STEP 3
  18. With adult help, tape the eyes to the sock near the toe.  Now open and close your hand to make to your puppet look like it's talking! Now you're ready to make friends with a prehistoric puppet!

  21. SOME COOL IDEAS:
  22. Lights! Camera! Action! To make a stage for your dinosaur puppet show, find a small cardboard box. Cut out half of the bottom panel. If you have a deep box, trim the sides so they are about 3 inches wide. Decorate the box any way you like. Stand the box up on the end of a table with the cutout on top. Then pop your puppets through the back of the opening! Let the show begin!
